Reader opinion to MDN 8/15/04 article

I firmly beleive that our city government is more concerned about lower property values, than higher health risks for the property owners due to dioxin contamination.

I am sure someone will tell me I am wrong, but based on the actions of our city and other elected government officials, I haven't seen them express very much concern for our health. Most of the concern seems to be on economic issues, rather than health issues. Which I think is the wrong approach, but maybe I am more sensitive, because I live in the exposed areas, and a lot of the government officials don't.
