No Resolve in Dow Dioxin Study
(TV5) Midland-- Work continues with no resolution in sight. About sixty people packed Freeland elementary school last night. Those people wanted to know more about a University of Michigan study. Researchers are trying to determine how much dioxin is ending up in their bodies. The research team started gathering data in September.
The leader of the study told the group he's pleased with its progress. Some people at the meeting say the study is just a maneuver by Dow Chemical. An estimated eleven hundred residents are being contacted to take part in the dioxin exposure study.
