Dow's Interim Plans Resubmitted

Dow Chemical's Scope of Work plans for dioxin have been resubmitted.
The Department of Environmental Quality says they received the plans for interim actions in the Tittabawassee River Flood plain and the Midland soils late Tuesday afternoon. The resubmittal was necessary because the DEQ says it found over 60 deficient points in Dow's original plans. The Scope of Work plan give Dow and the state a road map for early actions which can develop into a final solutions for dealing with dioxin.
The DEQ says a early review of the plans will be released before the next community advisory panel meeting on March 10th.
