Tittabawassee River Watch has a new web address
What happened to the old address?
Our web hosting company made an error and did not renew trwnews.org by it's renewal date. Internet protocol removes addresses that are not renewed on schedule and makes them unavailable. The trwnews.org address became unavailable on 1/2/04.
Now what?
The new site, www.trwnews.net contains all of the material on the old site and is now the official site of the Tittabawassee River Watch.
Unfortunately, many search engines links to the old site address exist and will fail if used (Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc.). If a search engine lists a trwnews.org link, do not bother clicking on it as it will error out.
What to do with search engine results linking to trwnews.org
These old links to trwnews.org still provide valuable information. Use the steps below:
1. In a separate browser window, open the home page of www.trwnews.net
2. Go back to the search engine result window, highlight and copy text from the search engine listing that contain key words
3. In the trwnews.net window, click on "Search TRW Site" located at top of Content panel on the left
4. Paste the information copied from the search engine window into the box to the left of the FIND button
5. Click FIND button and all information on the trwnews.net site will list and can be viewed by clicking on them.
Eventually, the trwnews.net will be picked by the search engines. Any search engine result with the trwnews.net link will work.
