Freedom of Information Act Documents
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is a federal law that gives the public
the right to make requests for federal agency records. All federal agencies,
including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), are required to
disclose records unless the records are protected from disclosure by certain
exemptions. The EPA FOIA Home page will guide you to information about the
statute and give you information on submitting a request to the Agency.
For more information about FOIA, visit
the EPA FOIA website
All of the documents presented below where obtained via FOIA requests. We have done little to organize or identify the individual documents or their contents and for the most part have titled them as received. Many contain a compilation of unrelated documents, the only way to discover what's in them is to browse the entire document. We list them in the format received, many are PDF files and require Adobe PDF Reader (click on link to obtain free version), others may be spreadsheets or other type of documents which may require specific types of programs to be purchased and installed on your computer before they can opened. Many are quite large and may take a while to download. If you find anything interesting and want to share, send a note to
info@trwnews.net, specify the document and
page where you found it and what was found. We will post them anonymously
on the TRW Current News page as a "FOIA Tidbit".
